Who am I?

My Why
5am on a snow day as a child, building a snowboard in the garage, melting plastics in the home oven, all before the snow melts. Fast forward a decade or two and I'm ripping apart bags to be re-fashioned into more suitable outdoor gear; bike bags for the Welsh Mountains, and the West Highland Way.
Five years in industry as a digital designer in London was interrupted by the Covid pandemic which gave me the opportunity to reconsider my priorities. 18 months later, after leaving my digital design job, I was flying out to Tajikistan to embark on a year of adventure on two wheels.
I cycled from the capital of Tajikistan to the capital of Nepal in 6 months, then travelled to Central/South America. Snowboarded in Kashmir,
hiked up to 5400m in the Himalayas, and explored various volcanoes and waterfalls in the Americas.
Throughout this year of travel, I had ample time to reconsider my ambitions. It became clear that my passion for adventure and product design had been taking a back seat all this time.
I want to become a designer/ maker/adventurer to inspire people to live healthy, adventurous lives in the great outdoors. I hope that the products and lifestyle I create will embody this ethos.
